completes the installation of 4 Chargepoint CPE250 Express at JFK International
Airport
Verdek announced the completion of the installation of 4 DC
Fast Charging stations that will charge Proterra electric buses at JFK
International Airport. The Port Authority of New York will use the Proterra
buses to transport passengers to their departure concourses.
The Chargepoint CPE 250 are the latest generation of DC Fast
Chargers designed to deliver 62.5 KW as single stations or 125KW when 2
stations are paired together. For this installation Verdek configured the
stations to work in pairs to benefit of their maximum performance.
The chargers are in the parking lot of Building 141 next to an
incredibly special place, a memorial from the Twin Towers and September 11,
clearly visible in on of the enclosed pictures.
Verdek is a national EV Charging Solution Provider
specialized in turnkey projects.
While these chargers can also charge Teslas, they will be temporarily bus-only.
